Who We Are

Garden of Rae Productions was born from a boutique social media agency and evolved into a female auteur creative development studio and culture-first production company dedicated to modern mythmaking.

We cultivate stories, brands, and creative worlds across film, television, theater, editorial, digital media, and brand storytelling. Female-led, story-first, and culture-driven, Garden of Rae specializes in creative development, production, audience growth, and cultural marketing for brands, talent, and entertainment projects.

Founder’s Note

Hi, I’m Amber, founder of Garden of Rae.

I’ve been writing stories for as long as I can remember.

As a kid, I’d spend hours handwriting scripts, directing my cousins in homemade movies, and dreaming up worlds far more interesting than the one outside my bedroom window.

I continued to do those things as a big kid and eventually built an online audience of nearly 50,000 followers, collaborated with my favorite brands, and contributed writing for productions at 54 Below in New York City.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Dramatic Writing, I found myself facing the same reality most creatives know all too well: a competitive industry and no clear roadmap forward.

I took a job at an eye doctor’s office as I tried to figure out what came next. It makes me laugh that the only job I managed to land was in healthcare with no formal qualifications. The closest experience I had to that level of precision was a sculpting class in college. Admittedly, I suppose both require a steady hand and good eye.

At the same time, my city was booming with people my age launching their own businesses, most notably social media agencies. I had the experience and portfolio, and thought to myself, “I could do that.”

So I did.

In 2025, I launched Swab Socials, a boutique social media agency focused on content creation, strategy, and audience growth. It gave me an outlet for my creativity and a crash course in building something from the ground up.

But I slowly felt like it was being dominated by the less glamorous realities of running a business: chasing invoices, navigating difficult clients, and dealing with the occasional businessman you consider taking to court.

As I approached the one-year mark of Swab Socials, I realized that I was doing the bare minimum amount of creative work required for me to feel fulfilled.

That small bit of fulfillment I found in the work was being eclipsed by the parts that drained me. I had built a career helping other people tell their stories at the cost of abandoning my own.

I had sold myself short.

The stories I wanted to tell had grown bigger than the container I had built for them.

I wanted to develop films and television projects. I wanted to help artists, brands, and creators cultivate meaningful worlds. I wanted to write, produce, strategize, and build.

I wanted a garden, not a container.

And so, Garden of Rae rose from the ashes of Swab Socials.

A place where I can explore the uncharted territory of the film world, while crossing my fingers and praying all this wasn’t just a character-building exercise.

Garden of Rae is what Swab Socials should have been from the start: a combination of the work and worlds I love most.

For the dreamers, daughters of Lilith and Eve, and anyone brave enough to start again: welcome to the Garden.

With Love,

Amber
